That’s why we have designed our mobile insurance to give you the comfort in knowing your phone is protected with cover that suits you and your device.
Our Premium Gadget Insurance will cover you for not only what you receive in our Basic package, but also for accidental damage and breakdown.
We will pay the costs of repairing your phone as a result of accidental damage, and if your mobile can’t be repaired then a replacement item will be provided by us.
We will also pay repair costs if your mobile is damaged as a direct result of electrical or breakdown occurring outside of the manufacturer’s guarantee period. If your phone can’t be fixed, then we’ll replace it for you, up to the value of your policy limit.

What we cover
We will pay repair costs if your gadget is damaged as a direct result of electrical or mechanical breakdown occurring outside of the manufacturer's guarantee period. If your gadget cannot be economically repaired, we will provide a replacement item up to the policy limit.
Your device is covered for repairs and replacements which are a direct result of accidental damage to your devices screen. Each claim will be up to your policy limit.
Fraudulent Usage Cover
If your gadget is accidentally lost or stolen and is used fraudulently, we will reimburse you for the costs up to a maximum value of £500 upon receipt of your itemised bill. This is in addition to the policy limit stated on your schedule of insurance.
If you lose your mobile phone or tablet we will provide a replacement item up to the policy limit.
If your gadget is stolen we will provide a replacement item up to the policy limit. Where only part or parts of your gadget have been stolen, we will only replace that part or parts.
If your claim is approved, we will replace any accessories that were lost, stolen or damaged at the same time as your gadget up to a maximum value of £150. Proof of purchase for the accessories will be required. This is in addition to the policy limit stated on your schedule of insurance.
We will pay the costs of repairing your gadget as a result of accidental damage. Repairs will be carried out using readily available parts. Where possible we will use original parts but in some cases, unbranded parts may be used.
In the event that any repairs authorised by us under this policy invalidate your manufacturer’s warranty, we will repair or replace your gadget for the remaining period of your manufacturer’s warranty in line with your manufacturer’s warranty terms and conditions.
If your gadget cannot be economically repaired then a replacement Item will be provided up to the policy limit.
Your device is covered for repairs and replacements which are a direct result of damage caused by liquid. Each claim will be up to your policy limit.

Gadget Premium Cover
If your gadget claim is approved, we will replace any accessories that were lost, stolen or damaged at the same time as your gadget up to a maximum value of £150. Proof of purchase for the accessories will be required. This is in addition to the policy limit stated on your Schedule of Insurance.
Your gadget is covered for up to 90 days in total worldwide in any 12 month period of cover. Replacement or repair can only be dealt with once you are back in the UK.
Yes, we will need an original receipt and any other documentation required to prove your device was purchased as new in the UK directly from a manufacturer, network provider or retail store (high street or online) OR purchased as refurbished in the UK direct from the manufacturer or network provider. This must show the date of purchase, make, model, IMEI/Serial number of your device.
Yes, there is an excess fee applied every time you make a claim. You can select what you want your excess level to be as you go through and build your cover.
Our cover is instant. As soon as you have paid your cover will start on the date you have selected the policy to start from.
We understand that you need your device replaced as quickly as possible. That is why we aim to have a replacement device in your hands within 48 hours of a claim being approved.
We will provide a gadget of the same age and condition and specification (we cannot guarantee that it will be the same colour as the original gadget) or, if not available, one of comparable specification or equivalent value taking into account the age and condition of the original gadget. For clarity, this is not a ‘new for old’ policy and the replacement item can be a new or refurbished item of equivalent specification.
We currently only offer insurance on iPhones, smartphones, mobiles and tablets. We do cover some accessories, upto a limit of £150, that are in use with your device. Please see our policy wording for a full list of what accessories we cover.
